The females are only at the flowers and not using the feeders at all. The males that came through had maybe at most a couple of sips and then changed to flowers as well. However, yesterday morning I had a large female and for the first time used the feeder extensively and then went off. The one last evening was a little skinny thing; I couldn't tell whether male or female. It was getting dark. She was in a huge Bonstedt I planted in the middle of my back yard lawn in an urn. By far all the Hummingbirds I have had this season their very favourite. Last week I had huge attendance and fighting for days and this week attendance down to 2.
