Milkweed- native asclepias I collected and planted this year being heavily browsed. Noticed the larval instar maybe 2 on milkweed and then later resting on Virginia sweetspire.

15 feet away on my lawn chair I discovered the chrysalis. Very exciting will be watching everyday for signs of emerging.
