6 ruby-throats on the nectar feeders right off the bat at first light this morning. One female, I think same one as yesterday, perches on and drinks from one feeder pretty much continuosly. She defends the feeder vigorously. Others have their feeder staked out also. Fun to watch them zip around. One or two hummers in the group are immature males. Temperature was cool this morning at 60 degrees. Rest of the week looks to be cool also.
