Hummingbird Sighting
Sightings report image

Date: 09/09/2015

Number: 3

Yesterday and today I have 3 females. One appears to be a juvenile (due to small size and lack of red throat coloring) but is very adept at protecting the feeder.
Today is a rainy day but the small one was at the feeder early this morning holding off the other two as best she can. One of the adults is extremely long and streamlined by comparison to the shorter more round bodied Hummers that fed with me all Summer.
No matter - through a rainy Wednesday morning, I've been treated to dancing now birds. Photo op was less desirable.
