While at the Overland Park Arboretum in Kansas, we saw 7 Monarchs (one had just emerged from its chrysalis and was drying its wings), one small Monarch caterpillar (reported separately), one Red Admiral, and one Viceroy. I have attached a picture of the Monarch recently emerged from the chrysalis. We could not identify gender.
