Our 3 boys left early this morning, their perches and feeders were quickly commandeered by the little girls :) There are 18 feeders in the habitat so sharing, and trading is not a problem :) The girls and juvies are very inclusive; there are often 3 or 5 hummer's at a feeder when the boys are gone. Lots of tag games and joyful, flights throughout the day. Perching, preening. Popular flowers: Obedient plants, turtle heads, Dicentria Scandens, Dicentria Luxiriant, Fuchsia Gartenmeister Bonstedt, Cardinal flowers, Blue Lobelia, Phlox, Black and Blue Salvia, Clematis Ragouchi, Indian Pinks, Lantana, Chinese Delphinium. Feeders are Humm Zingers and traditional glass Perky Pets. At 8:10 PM they call it a day and go to bed.
