Over a two day period during Labor Day weekend, my friend Ted and I observed 6 Monarch butterflies. They did not appear to be moving in a southerly direction. It has been hot and sunny and they appear to be in no rush.Ted has been checking on the hummingbird population and he has noticed there have been less and less showing up to his feeder.
