We have now found 5 chrysalis and 1 hatched out today. We planted milkweed last year and spread the seeds in the fall so we had more plants. All monarch larva have fed on the Butterfly Weed and none on the Swamp Milkweed. All larvae have crawled to the house and attached to a piece of the bamboo that I have stacked under the eaves.
