Sadly, I have not seen a single monarch all summer. Have gone out many times and made a point to look in the two fields on our property, but to no avail. No butterflies, no caterpillars, no eggs. We do have a number of milkweed on our property, but nothing. Last year we had 3 monarchs feeding on asters. Was so hoping with all the glowing reports through the spring that we would have some too. Maybe next year.
