Butterflies been roosting in grove for more than one day (9/08-09). At least 1000 but could have been significantly more. Mostly in Amur maples and box elders. Area is very well sheltered from winds. Grass with milkweeds in area about acre. Wetlands near by also but no alfalfa or clover fields. Temp were in high 50 to low 60 at night. All left by noon on 2 day.

They have been coming to farm now for several years! But this year the numbers were amazing!!!!
Our grove was full of the beauties!!!
