The Monarch caterpillar was seen for two consecutive days (08/28/15 and 08/29/15 feeding on a Butterfly Weed plant. It had grown some on the second day and was still on the same plant. About two days earlier I observed that leaves on a close-by young Milkweed plant had been completely consumed. Photo shows the caterpillar on the Butterfly Weed.
