In a 15 minute period around 2:30 pm EDT, released 2 female Monarchs from the netted cage in which I reared them from eggs. No tags. Both fluttered away from the cage and briefly landed on the side of our house. Each then flew off in southerly / southwesterly direction. Partly sunny, overcast skies.
