A "wave" of hummingbirds descended at once upon our four feeders late in the afternoon of 09/02/15 and stayed overnight, then moved on. Have had 6-10 consistently since then. These are Ruby Throats and Black Chins, both females and males. For yet another year -- three years now -- the numbers we see are much less than prior years. Will see what comes in over the next two weeks.
