I stopped filling my hummer feeder once there were plenty of blooms around for them to fed from.
Yesterday morning I was watering and a hummer came and hovered at the very edge of the stream of water. I think it was concerned that I would hurt its favorite bloom~~a butterfly bush in full bloom.
I've also have a Wendy's Wish Salvia and a Penstemon in my backyard that they love.
I can hear them clicking when I'm outside.
