waves of 10-20 ruby throat hummingbirds at a time, about every 5-10 minutes apart; since 0700-1000 i have seen at least 3-400+; lots of males mixed in, at least 1/3 males; from aug 27-30, 2015 i counted 105-125 from 0700-0800 each of those mornings, and about 20-30 were males; the numbers are definitely increasing now on tail end of cool front from the north with a much larger number of males mixed in; movement is east-southeast from my location, heading toward the gulf of mexico;
