Went to check out the small roost reported at Wendy Park on the shores of Lake Erie where the Cuyahoga River comes out. It was about 30 minutes before sunset when we spotted 3 monarchs on the leeward side of a clump of trees. They were each flying 12 - 15 feet up, in and out of the edge of the trees. Could have been more but we didn't see any more.
