This week (Tuesday evening perhaps) there were two males and a female zipping around my two feeders. The female seemed to lose interest with the ditzy males darting all around and left early. The two males kept feeding and zooming to the other feeder for probably over two minutes. I wish we could identify individuals so I'd know if this was my usual guy in our territory. Every year (3) that I have been really paying attention, their numbers increase in the fall just before they go away. I suppose they are meeting up to make their migration flight.
