Two rubythroats nectaring at the flowers on my second floor deck and drinking from feeders on deck and in trees. Interesting behavior -- if they stay a minimum of about 2 feet apart, there isn't much territorial chasing. But if one or the other moves too close, they start chasing each other. Neither seems to be dominant. We just ended a 10-day hot streak in which daytime temps were 10-15 degrees F above average. It's cooled down a bit and now nighttime temps dropped to the mid to upper 50s.
