Hummingbird Sighting (Adult Male)

Date: 09/02/2015

Number: 6

We have two sets of two feeders each, on the south and the north sides of our home. Bees have been bothering the hummies and we haven't figured out how to prevent their trying to get the hummie nectar. (We may have to adapt our present feeders to prevent bees and wasps for next season.) We do not use tinted nectar, just 1:4 clear sugar water; the feeders have red plastic 'flowers.' We notice that the birds are more active just before thunderstorms.
