Friends collected catapillars from their property and have them in a netted hanging container. The last catapillar went to cocoon 2 days ago and the have been hatching about one a day. They have two small children, it has been educational for us. The monarchs are released about an hour after they hatch. Sorry I'm not familiar with all the correct terms.
