Finally, a sighting of a very deep orange, healthy looking Monarch, sitting on the verbinum. I assume the fall migration back to Mexico has begun.
We only saw one Monarch this spring / summer, when in years past we have seen dozens, thanks Monsanto and others for killing off the milkweed, such a sad state of affairs. Hopefully more Monarch's will be seen this fall.
