Just saw a female despateately attempting to place eggs on a few VERY SMALL stems of antelope horns that are just popping back up after NO BURN mowing & a couple of small rain showers on W & Th this week. Very few nectar plants around because the summer has been dreadfully dry again, thus the burn ban and roadside mowing again.
Will check back shortly to see if I can find some eggs. Wish I could take her home to the tropicsl milkweed & flowers.
