I saw a monarch butterfly in my front yard on the 10th of September in Goldendale, WA.It had orange wings with black and white markings. The body of the monarch was black. The head had a set of antennas. The wings were mostly orange with black veins running throughout. The outer edge of the wings had a thick black border. Within the black border were white spots. Within the black border were white spots.At the upper corner of the top set of wings were orange spots.
