Monarch Larva Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 09/12/2015

Number: 3

I was thrilled to find three caterpillars munching on the milkweed today in my newly registered Monarch Waystation #11878. One was a big fifth instar that should pupate soon, and the other two were smaller, possibly third and fourth instars. Hopefully they'll turn into butterflies in time to join the migration when it is coming through the area at the end of September.
