Today the number of Monarchs in my backyard increased to 4! I have been watching 2 and/or 3 all week. Then today there were 6 butterflies - two were Queens. They are nectaring and dancing mostly. This tells me the pattern continues. Usually by the end of September we have 20 or 30. Then by the third week in October we can have a 100 or more. This is a wonderful sight to watch unfold. Here's hoping the increase continues.
There are at least 4 eggs and a nearly mature cat.
