Counted 41 small Monarch caterpillars this morning in the tropical milkweed patches in my garden, mostly first and second instar. Have had a number of adult Monarchs visiting the milkweed during last weeks. Unfortunately not too many caterpillars have reached the stage when ready to make pupa and leave the milkweed. Hoping this super generation has better results. I have not had much success raising indoors. New at this and maybe not doing something right.
