Monarch Larva Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 09/13/2015

Number: 12

I found a dozen more caterpillars on my potted milkweed plants (Monarch Waystation #11878) today, two tiny first instars and the majority second and third instars, possibly one early fourth instar. It suggests at least one female came through and laid eggs on almost all of the milkweed plants kept in pots on my porch, both common and swamp milkweed. One plant had two caterpillars on it, the others just one per plant.
