I had a tremendous amount of Adult and Juvenile Females come through feeding on nectar Saturday, September 12. I had at least 20 sightings in the rain from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. and in the evening quite a few more. None of the hummers go to feeders that I have noticed. They don't even fly off when we go out. One of them came right up to my face and chirped for a bit, then flew back to the flowers.
