My husband and I were in a field we were sure was to be mowed down in the next day or two. We were collecting caterpillars to raise and tag (we're now up to 120). The field is full of clover as well as clumps of milkweed. The Monarchs were flying all around us, about 25-30, nectaring. We were so uplifted seeing so many around us. We did not see but one Monarch last year.
