A student in my class brought in a chrysalis, a caterpillar about to go into the chrysalis stage, and a newly hatched caterpillar. We have been taking care of them. One came out of its chrysalis and the students and I released it outside. We watched as it flew into the sky heading south. The other two caterpillars are in their chrysalis stage. We will report when they are released.
