Adult male was not yet eclosed the evening before above a Kalanchoe flower plant in Waystation #11040. Was spotted again at dawn newly emerged with a slightly bent lower left wing along the top margin and an observed weakened left foreleg apparently from a fall. Nectar was injected onto the flowers in front of the resting butterfly. Monarch was gone after work. Migrating? Hopefully. :) Go, "Tardy!" the butterfly.. :)
