I walk at work on my break past approximately 1 mile of nondeveloped lots full of weeds native to Northwest Indiana. Today (9/15) I saw hundreds of monarchs feeding on the flowering weeds. In the days prior to today I would see one or two flying by. But today there were hundreds; maybe as many as 1000. These lots are full of milkweed however they were landing on a different weed that had clusters of white flowers.
