Had 2 healthy and vibrant colored adult monarches (1 male and 1 female). We have not spotted any since 09/07/15. Both were feeding on our butterfly bush. Spotted at 6:00pm with gusty SW winds around 20 mph with temps in the low 80's. We should be on the cusp of the migration starting to develops in our area. I have read posts on large roosts up in NE that are developing. The weather forcast is suggesting a cold front will move through along with rain on Friday. This should assist the monarches is catching a south tail wind from up North.
