Found 14 adult monarch butterflies on Thoroughwort at Bernheim Forest in Bullitt County, Kentucky at approximately 1 pm. The light wind was coming from the northwest. I was able to identify 6 females and 3 males. The butterflies were in good condition. We watched them feed for approximately 15 minutes. We saw 5 other butterflies in flight in the same park prior to this sighting.
