I was out with Miranda Kersten from the University of Oklahoma. The first one was spotted on Owl Rd., which parallels the Platte River and it within the boundaries of Scottsbluff National Monument. She netted a female and we measured and tagged her, then released. The other one we that day spotted was on the Gering Canal, also in the Monument.
