Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 09/16/2015

Number: 1

A solitary, fresh adult doing a pretty good job of showing me the native Asclepias plants (Asclepias oenotheroides)that I was looking for along the side of the road. It didn't seem to be nectaring or laying eggs, or flying in a specific direction, just flying in what looked like a search pattern, lingering momentarily near milkweed plants.
