What a thrill to see the four big bold monarchs flitting from golden rod to purple asters and back in the huge hill field across the road form my home. The flowers are at peak bloom. The butterflies have lots to choose from.
It was around 4PM with mostly sunny skies, very light breeze, and 72 degrees. Perfect!
I actually saw 7 monarch butterflies, but I think three of them may be the captive-release monarchs I let go on Monday 09/014/15.
So, I only entered a sighting of 4 - but I saw 7!!!!
