The students and I were at the school pollinator garden taking pictures for the first week of school. A female butterfly was drinking nectar from a milkweed. Many students were able to take a look at her before she flew off. It was a sunny, warm day in the high 80s. One of the students spotted her first and was very excited to show her off.
