I was driving my kids back and forth from school. From 8:30am to 8:50 am, I saw 2 monarchs cross the road in directiinal flight. From 11am to 11:30 am, I saw 2 more. From 2:45pm to 4:15pm, I saw one more. All about 20 feet off the ground. Oddly, all headed WEST. Perhaps due to southerly headwind, not sure.
