In the morning I noticed two or three monarchs in my front yard which is in a very rural area. In the evening after work I saw about 6 to 8 flying around a big maple tree. As it grew later I watched them all light on an east facing branch. They were gone the next morning by 9 o'clock. It was a sunny day.
