Three females have been visiting for about two weeks now. One being the self appointed guard. Another female joined the group on Monday. She is a very long body female. There are very few nectar flowers in my area and as I drive I see only the occasional feeder in my vicinity. This must account for low numbers here and the need to be so protective at my feeders. She is now sitting on the rail between feeders.
