Came home from work today and saw at least 7 monarchs nectaring at the New England asters. All were very fresh looking. After about an hour they scattered to the Box Elders and spruce trees. I was able to tag 4 of them for Monarch Watch. Thunder storms are predicted for tonight so I'll check in the morning to see if any are still on the trees.
