Three hummingbirds in sight much of the time on a cool, rainy day. There could easily have been more than 3. In the late evening, there were three settling down within a few feet of each other in a spruce tree. They were unusually tolerant of each other today, perhaps because of the rain. They also seemed less shy of people, and one approached very close to me while I was putting up a feeder.
