Sightings report image

Date: 09/17/2015

Number: 15

I have 7 feeders on my very small back porch and right now in the mornings and in the early afternoons until dusk they are sucking my feeders dry. I am positive they are ruby throats because I've seen one with a dark colored head and red plumage with green back, some with just a red spot under the throat, etc. I get my Waterhose out and turn it on to where it has a fine mist and I stand in the yard with it pointed upward and they dive thru it and then back thru it, playing in the water. They are so funny to watch and they all have their very own personalities. I've counted at least 15 at once at my feeders here in Horton Al right outside of Albertville
