I was walking in the Target Rock Nature Preserve when I saw one on the ground feeding. It sprang up onto a tree branch. It was huge and magnificent with it's large wing span and regal profile. I was told there was a nest nearby but I had never seen a bald eagle close-up in the wild before. Awesome!
