Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/18/2015

Number: 3

Morning in the 50's after a rain. I put out pre-warmed feeders before sunrise, and there were hummingbirds on them when it was still dark enough to be hard to see them. At least three were visiting the feeders, but since some are out of sight of the others, there could be more. There was lots of fighting once they warmed up a bit. When a Cooper's Hawk appeared, the hummingbirds - - along with the other birds - - disappeared.
