It was misty outside and the female hummingbirds were fighting at the feeders all day long--very active. There is a female who was born here three years ago and she has returned each summer. She was present on Monday, and I haven't seen a hummingbird since. They seem to be returning about a week earlier than usual. I will miss my friends.
