Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 09/18/2015

Number: 1000

I watched thousands of monarchs fly across Wichita,Ks today. Some were landing on trees and flowers and the sky was full as far as I could see. They were up to 100 ft. in the air or maybe higher. I watched them from about 2:00-4:30 PM. They came from the north with a cold front that came today causing scattered storms earlier today. This is the most I have seen in years!! Very exciting!!!!
