We still have one adult male Ruby Throat at our feeders, and approx 4 females (possibly 2 of those are immature Males whose red gorgets haven't grown in?). We've also had numerous 'passers-through' over the past 2 weeks or so.
As with many past summers, we maintained 6 feeders in a large meadow/wooded area near the Potomac River/Great Falls Park area here in Virginia. Some of our old friends returned, stationed on the same branches and flying up to hover in front of us, as past years. We had approx. 3 different families on the six feeders.
