I was in my front yard and saw a monarch. It flew past me, then went higher (about 20 feet) and fluttered around in circles until I lost sight of it. I glimpsed another (probably the same) as it flew past about 10 minutes later. Finally, about 10 minutes after that I saw another (the same?) nectaring on a dandelion. I didn't get close, but it looked fresh and its colors were vivid.
